Breast Reduction: How Long Will the Results Last?

Dr. Schoonover of Kansas Plastic Surgery discusses the results of breast reduction surgery. Early swelling and bruising of the breasts should be expected for the first few weeks after surgery. After the first month 70-80% of the swelling is usually reduced, and about 6 months post-op, you will get a really good idea of what the long-term results of your breast reduction will be. Healing takes time, but Dr. Schoonover is certain that you will be happy with your results after the swelling has subsided.
